This virtual reality interactive tour (and optional game) redefines what it means to be a couch potato, and all for a good cause! Download this app to transport yourself into the proposed Dakota Homestead, a community gathering and urban agriculture hub in West Seattle, WA, USA. All you need is an iPhone or iPad to explore the grounds and building (not yet built) which includes classrooms, working kitchens, balconies, living gardens and more. In addition, at the beginning of your tour, youll find an option to entertain the kids and young at heart with a built-in treasure hunt game of hidden carrots.

This app works by using the gyroscope on your iPhone or iPad; hold up the phone, change the angle or spin around, and you will see your view change as if you were there. Touch the screen and you will go into stereoscopic / Google VR (formerly Google Cardboard) mode. Google Cardboard and plastic comfortable versions are available from most major online retailers for around $15.
